Lawyers fight Hayden Panettiere film

September 24 2010 - Lawyers for convicted murderer Amanda Knox are reportedly trying to stop an upcoming film starring Hayden Panettiere.

It was reported earlier this week that Heroes star Panettiere had signed to play Knox in a Lifetime TV movie based on the Italian trial of the 21-year-old student and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito.

Knox and Sollecito were convicted of murdering British student Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy. However, the pair have always maintained their innocence and are currently challenging their prison sentences.

Maria Del Grosso, Knox's defence attorney, said of The Amanda Knox Story: "It is inconceivable to make a film when a final verdict on this case has not been reached."
Sollecito's lawyer Giulia Bongiorno commented: "If the film is shown before the end of the appeals trial we will request it be seized."
The appeals are due to be heard in court later this year, while the Lifetime project is currently slated for a 2011 airdate.

Heroes actor Hayden Panettiere is set to play Amanda Knox, the American exchange student convicted of murdering her roommate in Italy, in a Lifetime movie. The film will air in 2011, according to Deadline. Knox, 23, and her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, were found guilty last year
of killing 21-year-old British student Meredith Kercher by slashing her throat with a knife during a violent, drug-fuelled sex game, reports the New York Post.

Prosecutors called Knox a “coiled spring” filled with vengeance because her roommate had criticised her grooming and sexual habits. After an 11-month trial, Knox was convicted of murder, sexual assault and other charges in Italy and sentenced to 26 years in prison.

Hayden Panettiere chats to boyfriend`s ex-wife

Former Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has been spotted chatting to boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko's ex-wife at his recent boxing match.

Panettiere, 21, was sitting ringside at the match with her brother and father as her boxer beau took on, and beat, opponent Samuel Peter in Frankfurt, Germany.According to US website Just Jared, Klitschko's ex-wife Natalia was also at the match and Panettiere was seen chatting to her as they both watched the event.

The actress has been dating the 6ft 6in Ukrainian boxer, 34, since the beginning of the year.

Panettiere turns 21

Hayden Panettiere celebrated her 21st birthday all over again on Friday - partying with pals in New York.

The actress reached the milestone on Aug. 21 and marked the occasion with a spectacular bash on the Detroit, Michigan set of her new movie Scream 4 - complete with fireworks and a three-foot dolphin birthday cake.

But Panettiere wasn't satisfied with the festivities and jetted back to her native New York this weekend so she could enjoy a more low-key birthday bash with old friends.

The star was spotted feasting on tacos and burritos and downing cheap cocktails and shots with eight pals at Mexican restaurant Blockheads in Manhattan on Friday night. A fellow diner tells WENN, "It wasn't a very showbizzy gathering and Blockheads isn't exactly a celebrity hang-out. But Hayden looked like she was having a great time. The party was pretty rowdy, with lots of laughing and joking. But nobody minded. She was even treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday by all the waiters, who brought her out some cake. Everyone in the restaurant joined in."

There was one conspicuous absentee - Panettiere's giant boxer beau Wladimir Klitschko. The onlooker adds, "She did look like she was missing her boyfriend. She was on her iPhone every five minutes, checking for messages from him."

8/21/2010 - Alright, so Hayden turns 21 years old today (SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY). Now you would think that Hayden would be able to get into a nightclub a day early..... WELL NOT SO FAST!
A report is saying that Hayden tried to get into the nightclub (Villa). When she got to the door, she couldn't prove that she was 21, or close to turning the age. When the doorman didn't let her in she went crazy saying "Are you kidding me?"

But......

The crazy thing about the whole issue was this........ SHE GOES THERE ALL THE TIME which is true.

Maybe it was the first day nervousness for the doorman.

Seeing new Transformers will be weird: Megan Fox

Monday, September 20, 2010 - Hollywood star Megan Fox is planning to see the next 'Transformers' movie but admits it will be "weird" watching herreplacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley play former co-star Shia Labeouf's love interest.

The 24-year-old actress, who rose to fame with the sci-fi series, opted out of the third film following ongoing criticism from crew members about her working attitude on the first two pictures.

British model Huntington-Whiteley was announced as the new female lead and Fox is eager to see her replacement on the big screen when the film hits theatres in 2011, reported MTV News.

"I will see it. I'm gonna see it. I might be a little jealous when I see somebody kissing my Shia, wearing my jeans that I... already had been fit (sic) for. It's kind of weird, actually," said Fox.

Brian Austin Green Says Megan Fox Is a Better Parent Than He Is

When we think about Megan Fox, "nurturing" isn't exactly the first word to come to mind. But Fox's husband and longtime partner Brian Austin Green says she's born to be a mother -- and he should know! When Green first started dating Fox in 2002, his son Kassius was two years old. And although Fox was only eighteen at the time, Green -- who is thirteen years her senior -- tells Details that she instantly "step in and took control."
